Ways to Support

Volunteerism

Hometown Hospice Volunteers are very special. Their work is unique in the fact that they provide support in many ways to our patients and their families. Hometown Hospice Volunteers are a vital part of the Hometown Hospice Team.

Hometown Hospice Volunteers are able to assist in several areas of patient care. Tasks can vary from patient and family assistance, to helping within the office with administrative tasks. Hometown Hospice Volunteers are able to use their skills and talents to serve the needs of the patient and family.

As a Hometown Hospice Volunteer you gain experience and are able give back to those in need. Hometown Hospice participates with local universities and colleges providing students with community service hours and internship opportunities. Hometown Hospice also provides elementary-high school-aged youths with volunteer opportunities. Volunteering within hospice is an opportunity to gain a quality and rewarding experience in building a professional resume.

By sharing your time and talents, you can make a difference in the life of someone so deserving!
